UNCASVILLE - Fresh off a 47-point semifinals performance, Sacred Heart-Waterbury’s Mustapha Heron picked up where he left off, scoring 32 points in a 101-49 blowout victory against the Notre Dame-Fairfield Lancers in the Class M title game.
Heron, who will play college basketball at the University of Auburn next year, scored 26 of his 32 points in the first half as his team took a commanding 58-26 lead at the break. With Saturday’s win, the Hearts captured their third consecutive title.
Tyrn Flowers also helped lead the Hearts, recording 19 points and 8 rebounds.
