Championship Weekend: Avon and Tolland Fans Enjoy State Titles
Avon walked away from the Class L final with a 3-1 overtime victory over Wethersfield and Tolland did in fact eat bacon, topping Bacon Academy 2-1 to capture Class M at Middletown High. Jack Russo called both matches for NFHS and said these games are always a treat for commentators.Read more »
Championship Weekend: Glastonbury Soccer is Feeling the Love
It marked the second straight year both teams that won LL state crowns. With the back-to-back state titles, Glastonbury became the first soccer program at the LL division to have a girls and boys team win two years in a row.
