The Stonington Bears opened the scoring early with goals from Margit Burgess and Isabella Natale . Old Saybrook suffered through a barrage of shots, but stayed in the game thanks to 12 first-half saves from Riley Roarick.
Allyson Kehlenbach, Kelsey True, and Kendall Hartt would help the Rams breakthrough to take a 3-2 lead midway through the first half. Reilly Walker tied the game at three with seven minutes to go in the opening half for the Bears, but Old Saybrook would blitz with seven unanswered goals. The Rams went on to defeat the Bears, 10-6.
Roarick picked up 17 saves for the Rams to earn player of the game honors. Both teams are now 4-2 on the year.
