HS Girls Basketball: Holy Cross 47, Lauralton Hall 32

Junior guard RaShana Sliders scored 14 points to lead Holy Cross-Waterbury to a 47-32 win over Lauralton Hall in the consolation game of the Mercy Holiday Tournament Dec. 29 in Middletown. CPTV Sports was there and will show the broadcast premiere Saturday Jan. 3 at 1:00pm. That will be followed at 3:00pm by the broadcast premiere of Mercy’s 56-37 victory over Career Magnet-New Haven in the championship game .

Holy Cross improved 6-1. Senior guard Maggie Salandra had a game-high 15 points for the Crusaders (1-5).
