Bryan Acevedo, a senior guard on Masuk-Monroe’s boys basketball team, is our sixth UChoose Student-Athlete of the Week of the winter and 16th of the 2014-15 school year!
After starting 1-for-8 from the field, Bryan scored 32 points, 24 in in the second and third quarters, in Masuk’s 79-60 win over host Weston in an SWC boys basketball game Jan. 22. CPTV Sports was there and will show the broadcast premiere Tuesday Jan. 27 at 9:30 p.m.
Congrats to Bryan, who joins Greenwich boys basketball player Conor Harkins, Holy Cross-Waterbury girls basketball player RaShana Siders, Fairfield co-op boys hockey player Jake Fuss, Northwest Catholic boys hockey player Anthony Ceolin and Northwest boys basketball player Christian Thomas as our winter Student-Athletes of the week.
