Kayla Croswell, a senior point guard on Notre Dame-Fairfield’s girls basketball team, has been voted our newest UChoose Student-Athlete of the Week!
Kayla scored 24 points — 12 in the second overtime — as ND-Fairfield defeated Newtown 80-74 in the South-West Conference tournament semifinals Feb. 24. ND-Fairfield lost to New Fairfield 58-50 Feb. 26 in the SWC title game in a game streamed live at CPTVSports.org. ND-Fairfield (18-5) is the fifth seed in the CIAC Class S tournament (CPTV Sports will carry the finals LIVE from Mohegan Sun Arena March 21-22).
