HS Boys Soccer: Somers 3, Bolton 2

Somers got second-half goals from Nick Murdza, Mike Szleszynski and Corey Brown to overcome Bolton 3-2 in an NCCC boys soccer game Oct. 21 in Somers. CPTV Sports was there and will show the broadcast premiere Saturday Oct. 25 at 7:00pm.

Somers (10-2-2) is third in the NCCC, behind unbeaten Avon and Somers. The Spartans are also the fourth-rated team in CIAC Class S.

Bolton (4-9) took a 1-0 lead on Jeff Minucci’s goal in the ninth minute. Bulldogs goalie Kyle Vining (16 saves) kept Bolton in it until Somers’ second-half surge. Kevin Dean scored in the final minute for Bolton.
