Anthony Ceolin – Northwest Catholic boys hockey
The sophomore forward’s hat trick led the Indians in a 4-3 victory over Newington-Berlin-Manchester Thursday. Ceolin has 12 goals for Northwest (4-4).

Hannah Friend – Farmington girls basketball
A big week for the unbeaten Indians’ senior guard: she committed to Delaware Monday, had a dominant performance Wednesday vs. Weaver-Hartford (32 points, 12 rebounds) and Friday was player of the game with 19 points in a 55-48 win over Southington seen LIVE on CPTV Sports. No. 3 Farmington improved to 7-0.

Mustapha Heron - Sacred Heart-Waterbury boys basketball
The Pitt-bound junior guard scored 32 points Tuesday in the first real challenge of the season for the defending CIAC Class S champions. The top-ranked and undefeated Hearts (5-0) defeated city rival Kennedy 79-63 Tuesday.

John Lambert – East Catholic-Manchester boys basketball
The senior guard’s 32 points and 13 rebounds led the undefeated Eagles (6-0), the defending Class M champions, to an impressive 71-50 win over defending Class L champion Windsor.

Tyler Luedee – North Haven boys hockey
The senior forward scored two short-handed goals Wednesday in a 3-0 win over East Haven seen on CPTV Sports.

Erica Meyer – Wilton girls basketball
The Providence-bound senior center had three double-doubles in three wins in four days the Warriors (7-1). Erica’s numbers: 17 points, 12 rebounds in 75-28 win over McMahon, 16-15 in 58-23 win over New Milford, and 14-17 in 62-50 win over Trumbull.
