HARTFORD, Conn. (August 13, 2015) – CPTV Sports will kick off the 2015 Connecticut football season with its premiere of Friday Night Live Football, debuting Friday September 11th , as defending CIAC Class LL-Small state champions Xavier-Middletown take on Southern Connecticut Conference opponent West Haven. The game will be at Ken Strong Stadium in West Haven, kick-off at 7:00 p.m.

Fans are invited to join CPTV Sports thirty minutes prior to the game for a chance to take part in the official show open with commentators Don Boyle, Marco Pizzoforato, and Erika Wachter.

Entering its fourth season, Friday Night LIVE Football will be on the road this fall covering twelve matchups all over the state, including the annual “UChoose” Thanksgiving Day match-up, where fans from around the state will vote for one of six matchups to be covered live on Thanksgiving. There will also be five additional high school football games that will be taped outside of Friday Night LIVE Football, to air at a later date.

Week two will feature last season’s CIAC Class LL-Large runner up Norwich Free Academy taking on Waterford in an Eastern Connecticut Conference matchup on Friday, September 18th, 7:00 p.m. at Waterford High School.

“CPTV Sports promises to bring the biggest party in the state to your television or mobile device this fall,” said CPTV Sports producer Frankie Graziano. “We are committed to broadcasting the best possible game each Friday, ultimately shedding a light on every single sports community in Connecticut.”

In preparation for the 2015 season, CPTV Sports will be touring the state in the next few weeks as a part of its “High School Football Training Camp Tour.” Visiting twenty schools in ten days, the special will cover a behind-the-scenes look into these teams’ preparation for the upcoming season. The 2015 High School Football Training Camp Special, hosted by Graziano, airs Friday September 4 at 7:00 p.m.
