HS Boys Basketball: Crosby 70, Bunnell 67 (OT)

Tyarius Sands had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead Crosby-Waterbury to a 70-67 boys basketball victory over Bunnell in Stratford Jan. 2. CPTV Sports covered the game LIVE, our first live high school hoop game of 2015.

Jordan Booker had three points in overtime, including a free throw with 14 seconds left, for Crosby (3-1).

Clevon Bristol had 14 points, Zarvon Love 13 and Daniel Jones 12 for Crosby. Jones also had 11 rebounds and three steals.

Ryan Pittman had 21 points for Bunnell (2-3). Rashad Spain hit a three-pointer with three seconds left in regulation to tie the score.

Nick Giannoni and Donte Peeler both had 10 points; Giannoni, Peeler and Aaron Samuel (five points) had eight rebounds each.
