HS Boys Basketball: Sacred Heart 64, Christ the King (N.Y.) 51

Mustapha Heron scored 18 points and Malik Petteway and Tyrn Flowers added 15 as Connecticut No. 1 Sacred Heart-Waterbury defeated New York City power Christ the King 64-51 Jan. 17 in the Hoop Hall Classic at Sprinfield College.
Petteway also had 14 rebounds; Heron, who is headed to the University of Pittsburgh, had six rebounds and five assists. Sacred Heart (8-0) took a 16-8 lead after the first quarter and never trailed the rest of the way. Christ the King is 10-3.
