CPTV Sports has LIVE college football Saturday Nov. 8 at noon as longtime rivals Trinity and Wesleyan meet for the 114th time at Andrus Field in Middletown.

It’s the second LIVE CPTV Sports appearance this fall for both teams. Both the Cardinals (6-1) and Bantams (5-2) lost close games to NESCAC leader Amherst on our air. NESCAC leader Amherst (7-0) beat Wesleyan 33-30 in overtime Oct. 16 in Middletown and defeated Trinity 7-6 Nov. 1 in Hartford.

Last season, Trinity dashed Wesleyan’s hopes of an undefeated season and outright NESCAC title with a 40-10 victory in Hartford seen LIVE on CPTV Sports. It was Trinity’s 13th consecutive victory in the series, which began in 1885. The Bantams lead all-time series, 60-52-1.
