Congrats to UChoose Student-Athlete of the Week
Lauren Cenci, Northwest Catholic lacrosse

Lauren Cenci, a senior midfielder on the Northwest Catholic-West Hartford girls lacrose team, has been voted our fifth UChoose Student-Athlete of the Week for the spring 2015 season!

Lauren scored seven goals in Northwest’s 13-10 win over South Windsor May 5 for the Indians, who are 5-5. The past two seasons she scored 132 goals with 55 assists and was All-State and All-CCC. More on Lauren Wednesday at 7 p.m. on a new edition of In Focus.

Shelton pitcher Mike Cowell, Amity softball player Katie Koshes, New Milford girls lacrosse player Marisa McLaughlin and North Branford softball player Lindsay Golia were our previous spring 2015 honorees.
